But here is the detail: mandatory safety certification leveled the basic protection, leaving the real dispute to the durability of materials and practicality in routine.
We compared the specifications of 12 models available in the Brazilian market and cross-checked the information with more than 300 buyer reviews at major retailers to consolidate this selection. We evaluated the presence of the Inmetro seal, the density and type of wood (MDF vs. MDP), the regulatory spacing of the grids (maximum 6 cm) and the ease of structural conversion.

How we choose
Our criteria eliminated any model that did not have explicit approval from Inmetro or that featured paints with toxic compounds. We prioritize models that offer height regulation of the base in at least three levels, allowing to follow the growth and mobility gain of the child. Models with fragile structural plastic parts or efficient locking-free wheel systems have been discarded.

We left out the cribs with movable side railings.
